Where are you today with God?

As God's people, we look forward to his second coming, but he says, "When I return, will I find faith upon the earth?".  God sent his Son Jesus Christ to renew each of us.  Turn your heart toward God and ask him to renew you.  

To each person, Jesus stands at the door of our heart and he says, "If anyone will open the door, I and my Father will come in and sup with him" Revelation 3:20.  God wants to be very personal in our lives.  He cares about all the things that make up our life and he wants us to live with him forever.

Stop and consider this.  What do you have to lose by asking Jesus to come into your heart and live in you?  If you believe that he does not exist and don't do anything, then nothing changes.  But, if you take the chance to believe that God is everything he said he is and you ask him to come into your heart and live in you, then you have everything to gain.

Think about this.  If you want to see change happen, then say this prayer and I guarantee that a change will begin to take place.  It is only the first step, but it will be one that will give you the peace, joy and love that this season is all about.

Prayer

God almighty, I ask you to come into my heart and live in me.  Have mercy upon me and forgive my sins.  Send your Holy Spirit to live in me and make me yours.  Deliver me from all evil and break all ties I may have had to the occult or other evil things like this.  I want your peace, your love and your joy.  Help me to find a Christian community where I can grow to live in you.  Thank you for coming and hearing me, in Jesus' name I pray!
